Thanks for the reply, Gemma. Guess I need to get busy on my fall planting. Time gets away from me much too fast these days!

The siding and intake vents are up!
We'll stain siding and trims to match our house and garage...we're debating whether to stain all one color or making the "gingerbreads) white, any thoughts??
PS the electrical going through is temporary until we dig and install a proper system

if you tell me the stain color/point to a sample color, I can mock up both ideas for you and you can visually see it, Gemma. Or, post a pic of the house siding/trim and I'll just sample from that, then transfer to your lil gingerbread house!

That is so nice of you, thank you!

okay, quick transformation; tried to 'shade' the white a bit as it was pretty stark with a 'white fill', just to maybe give it more realism? If I didn't get the parts you wanted 'white' right, let me know and I'll adjust the pics;

Thanks for putting time into this
I'm thinking if we make that gingerbread white we should also make the wavy supports (not sure what they're called) white

This weekend I drew the details for hubby to cut (I hate power tools) this is what it came out looking like

LOVE the gingerbread detail Gemma! Really nice!
