What's your favorite plant this year?

My favorite plant so far this year, is the Beardtongue "Dakota Burgundy"!
I don't know anything about it, other than what's on the tag (perennial, more compact than other Beardtongue varieties, easy to grow, loved by hummingbirds..), I just love the contrast of the dark leaves and the lavender clusters of blooms
I'm hoping it wont spread invasively

hmm, this is a tough one because I like so many and for different reasons. I tend to lean toward the Irises, though. Reminds me of orchids and I've always loved those. My wife loves her lilies, day and Asian, and those too are usually high on my list. So, can't pick out just one, sowwy!
