Re: an interesting exchange

that might be telling you your water has some higher nutrient numbers; it would be interesting to check your water from the well. I'm wondering if you have more than usual phosphates, possibly iron (that might turn it a red color from the iron bacteria; ask me how I know!). Ever tested? Yep tested ...

Re: RPE vs EPDM?

i'm not sure what liner I have as it's more like a hard plastic. Probably not a liner thinking about it. A precast pond kind of thing. I know it was easy to put in but the sides that show need to be fixed i guess. Do you have any ideas how to do that? You have preformed pond if it's hard plastic. K...

I don't have any live plants in eh pond just some on the edges. Iris and horsetail mainly but looking to find some creping genny as the color is nice and it doesn't look hard to grow. @j.w how long have you had the cat tails and do they spread very fast? I have the yellow ones like you. Creeping Je...

Re: cleaning the pond

I get murky water in the spring too but it goes away after the plants start growing. Always an interesting but frustrating time when I want to see the fish like I usually see them. But I agree you need patience!

Re: "Best" place to get schedule 40 PVC fittings?

Ended up getting RPE from BTL liners at 30x35. I had traced all the ledges and shelves sizes and came out w the close dimensions. I bumped those up a few times and think I should have like 5-7 feet extra at least on each side to utilize in doing folds if needed. Should have lots of practice heat we...
