heh, we're gonna pull you in screaming and kicking, @Jhn !! into the world of photographing your pond I 'fixed' the orientation of both pics and used some PS magic to reduce the glare on the DBT, with respect to your efforts, jhn; hope you don't mind!
wow! that made a huge difference! Love the pics jhn...always wanted a turtle but it wouldn't stay long in my pond:(brokensword wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:02 amheh, we're gonna pull you in screaming and kicking, @Jhn !! into the world of photographing your pond I 'fixed' the orientation of both pics and used some PS magic to reduce the glare on the DBT, with respect to your efforts, jhn; hope you don't mind!
One great tip; if you wear sunglasses, hold them in front of your cam lens and THEN take pics when there's glare on the water; it will reduce it tremendously and your subject will pop out of the pic better! I sorta did this with the DBT pic, but best if done at the time of pic taking. Still, really nice to see the DBTs again! Still going to consider getting one some day as they're like a version of salt water fish to tropicals when it comes to turtles!

@Jhn ; you sure YOU didn't turn the pic accidentally 90 deg CW and in reality, the turtle is hanging on the UNDERSIDE of that log??? Talk about inner Spiderman, hey??
I wish I could have a couple in my bog but it is probably a bad idea
