ok so I shot a short video and I learned how to post it on here from youtube...but I don't remember how to get it on youtube so maybe @brokensword can be so kind once again and step in and be of assistance Image
ah, ah, me be confused; you need directions on how to POST TO YOUTUBE? You need a Youtube account (just sign up for one), then there will be an upload icon (somewhere, I forget, but for me up near my youtube ID logo at the top). You then upload, Youtube processes, you need to check a few options/choices, and after some checking and whatnot, Youtube tells you it's cooked and gives you the link for your upload. You c/p that and insert the ID part of the link then between the hash marks of the 'youtubehs' button at the top of the PondLife dialog box.

So, if I got it wrong, clarify me, O Head O Mops! heh heh

I think you'll find that sending video (large files, usually) will be more complicated than just signing up to Youtube. I know MY email server has size limits (believe me, I've tried!) and it takes very little (time of footage) to create a large video file! You can try, but don't be surprised if it bounces back to you. If I get it, I'll put it on my youtube for you, but you'll want to do this again sometime, so just go through the registration and learn a bit about Youtube. It isn't hard. Most of the time, it gets a bit annoying as changes/processing generally goes in two stages (SD=standard definition) and HD (high definition), the latter taking longer than you would like it to take. You can also add sound tracks (free from youtube) to your finished upload, to cover over any dialog you didn't mean to add! For this, you'd upload, wait until done, then hit 'editor' in your Youtube Studio, add your audio (you'll get a way to search/filter for different songs), save, and you're set. Not hard, just takes more time than you'd expect. I often upload one day and post the next, to give the processing time to give me HD quality. Give it a try! I know, you can start with that MrGemma/Raccoon vid we're all making popcorn for!!!

@Gemma I have had this info kept in my emails just in case I needed to do a video again. I haven't done one in ages so maybe this is outdated. Just sign up first and then try this:

YouTube has a staggering number of videos for users to watch, including anything from how to fix your dryer to the latest gadget reviews and cat videos. It can also be a great place to upload your videos for others to watch. To do so, follow the steps below.

Note: You cannot upload videos to YouTube without an account. If you don't have one, visit our page on how to create a YouTube account: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001793.htm

How to upload your videos to YouTube

1. Go to the YouTube website: https://www.youtube.com/ and click the YouTube Image button in the upper-right hand corner (if you're not already signed into your YouTube account).
2. Click the Upload icon Image in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
3. On the next page, look for the upload section, as shown in the following image.

Hey guys I can see that you stopped by and party on my pond thread, which is fine with me (I'm guessing all the other rooms had wet floors  ) just as long as you don't expect me to read all that cause I just don't have it in me...I lack the attention span necessary to read (or write) for long, so sorry :-P

It's that time a year again, when I want to enjoy the blooms for as long as I can, but don't want to wait till it's bitter cold to prep the pond and garden for winter...so I will be pulling a few at a time.
Do you guys wait till the plants look yellow and dead?

My Marsh Marigold bloomed all season this year and it is still at it!... and of course impatient don't stop until they get frosted, so sad to take it all downImage

the marsh marigold is a cool weather bloomer and will go dormant, usually, in the heat of summer, so not surprised it's doing well right now. I think mine is surging up again, too.

I generally take the last week of September to take in the more tender houseplants, some of the floaters (for the turtle pool and next summer) but leave most until the end of October when I start cleaning out all the garden beds. It's typically cold, yeah, but I do most of my customers first THEN my own. One of the reasons I don't to dahlias and cannas much anymore is because it was always so cold and wet trying to get them dug up, cleaned, and bagged in early November. I have ONE canna and now, maybe, TWO dahlia, but only the canna might get brought inside. Still thinking about each. I want LESS now to take in and out every year, so...

Ah it all looks so pretty, too bad it has to end! I don't have a lot of pretty blooms and what I need to trim gets done whenever I feel like it as our weather allows us to do stuff all year long.
I only have the 3 Amigo's to bring in the garage and I might not do that anymore as they are not so great looking and their fronds are always dying and making more work. Might just let them freeze to death outside this year and be done w/them. Then I will have no plants to bring inside, yay!
